COVID-19 (CORONAVIRUS) SITUATION
Due to the on-going health matters and guidelines issued by Her Majesty’s Government regarding the COVID-19 pandemic, we at Aerona (Air & Sea) Customs Clearing Agents are presently working with a full ‘in office’ staff.
Therefore all lines of our usual communication are open, such as our telephone line on 0161 652 3443 and our main e-mail address of This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..
Should the situation change then we will have a back-up of working from home, although this may not apply to all our staff who may be unable to work from home.
At present with the world situation we are managing to get consignments onto air craft and sea vessels, although with the reduction of flights due to air lines temporarily shutting down some routes or reducing flights on their routes, space is becoming limited and we cannot guarantee flights on specific dates.
Ocean freight appears to be unaffected regarding routing reduction, although of course again due to the increase in freight traffic by sea space is becoming limited.
We at Aerona are doing our best for all concerned in the freighting of goods and will continue to do so and uphold our highly regarded customer service.
We will try to keep all out clients updated and should the situation change we will inform as we become aware of new official guidelines issued by the relevant authorities.
Please note we cannot guarantee space and quoted rates which will have to be re-checked at the time of booking your freight due to the Coronavirus.
Current rates and space will have to be obtained by the Overseas Offices at time of shipment ready date, quotations may therefore be invalidated at any given time.
We would add that, in these unprecedented times, it is very important that we all remain flexible and adaptable.
Here at Aerona (Air & Sea) Customs Clearing Agents, we will need to monitor and adapt our provision as we experience challenges.
We will continue to update customers on changes to freight rates, booking, and deliveries and ask for your patience and understanding as we navigate our way through any problems we experience.
Should you have any concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us in the first instance.
Thank you for your ongoing support during these unprecedented circumstances. We will endeavour to keep our entire customers, associates and staff in our thoughts and prayers.
Best Wishes
Anthony Sawyerr & Paul Doughton
